For Students – Pioneer Cards

Printing

The student ID card, aka Pioneer Card, can be used to print from the UTS printers. Your student ID card is managed by the Pioneer Card office. Law students are granted a set amount of money on their student ID cards each semester for printing through this system and the costs of the jobs vary by type. These funds are located in your “Print Account.” The “Print Account” cannot be used to make copies with the copier machines.

If you run out of money in your “Print Account,” you can use Flex Funds to print from the printers. To add Flex Funds to your card, go to the Pioneer Card site and select “Add Cash Now.”

Copying

The Pioneer Card can also be used to make copies on the copiers in the library. The money granted on your student ID for printing cannot be used for copying, but any Flex funds you add to your card can be used. To add Flex Funds to your card, go to the Pioneer Card site and select “Add Cash Now.”
