Fall 2017 applications are now open! We will continue to accept applications until all seats are filled. Apply now!
Graduate Legal Studies accepts applications throughout the year on a rolling basis. Applicants to all programs are urged to apply as soon as possible for best consideration. However, we will continue to accept students to individual programs until all seats are filled for the upcoming term.
Students should be notified of an admissions decision within 4-6 weeks upon receipt of a complete application.
Admission is highly selective. The admissions committee will conduct a holistic review of each applicant. The committee reserves the right to request additional information from the applicant, including an interview via Skype, telephone, or in person, if feasible.
Attention those seeking English Conditional Admission: please read through this information before beginning the application process.
Graduate Legal Studies accepts applications in two manners: through the DU Graduate Admission Application and through the Law School Admissions Counsel application. We strongly suggest using the DU application if we are the only school you are applying to. LSAC should only be used if you are applying to other LLM programs that REQUIRE an LSAC app. Otherwise, the DU Graduate Admissions Application is the preferred method of application.
Log in to your DU Graduate Admission Application here.
Log in to your LSAC LLM Account here.
PLEASE NOTE: We do not accept applications for the Graduate Tax Program through LSAC. You must use the DU Graduate Admissions Application for admission to the Graduate Tax program. Applications to the Graduate Taxation Program may have additional requirements, please visit the Graduate Tax Program Admissions page for more information.
ALL SUPPLEMENTAL MATERIALS MUST BE RECEIVED BY THE INDICATED DEADLINE. INCOMPLETE APPLICATIONS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.
Please allow 3-4 weeks for processing. If trying to apply after the posted deadline, contact GLS at for approval.
