DROUGHTLAND: A FILM SCREENING

Tuesday, February 10, 2015
4:30 p.m.-6:00 p.m.

University of Denver Sturm College of Law, Room 165

Severe, life-altering drought conditions face farmers, ranchers and residents living in southeastern Colorado. Droughtland, a 45-minute documentary, focuses on these devastating conditions that have ravaged the area. Hear about this under-publicized issue in a part of the state one rancher describes as “the other Colorado.” And learn about the ramifications of what drought means to families, small towns and an entire region in the Rocky Mountain west.

Post-screening, a Q & A session will feature Professor Tom Romero, Sturm College of Law, and the film’s director and producer, Steffan Tubbs, 850 KOA Radio.

Free and open to the community. Lot L parking and coffee/snacks will be provided.

REGISTRATION IS CLOSED FOR THIS EVENT.
