Topic Title: Mentoring Law Students and Associates: Developing Better Lawyers and Increasing the Bottom Line

Whether developing law students or new associates, mentoring can be a key component to improving both the substantive legal work of the individual, and the full integration of the individual into the practice setting, whether it be a law firm, governmental entity, non-profit organization. Mentoring takes time and dedication by both the mentor and the mentee. We will explore the importance of mentoring programs, and discuss key components to ensure the success of such a program in your organization. Good mentoring often leads to higher retention rates, and thus can have a significant impact on the bottom line of your organization.
