What Employers Want (And What You Can Do To Get It!)

Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at 12:00pm - 1:00pm
Location: Law 170

In a recent study http://iaals.du.edu/foundations conducted by IAALS, the Institute for the Advancement of the American Legal System, more than 24,000 lawyers from diverse practice settings weighed in on an important question: what skills, competencies, and characteristics (collectively, “foundations”) do new lawyers need? In this session, IAALS Manager and former attorney Zack DeMeola will share those results in an interactive presentation to help you identify the foundations you need to land a job and succeed as a lawyer and to create a plan to get there. You have more control over your career outcomes than you think. This session will tell you how to start planning for the career you want. This Program Qualifies for Career & Professional Development Credit. Please RSVP on Denver Law Career Connection, lawcareerblog.law.du.edu.
