Our Fall Privacy and Computer Security Seminar will examine the history and current status of interactions between Privacy and Computer Security, with particular emphasis on the recent Equifax data breach. These interactions will be discussed through the legal, technical, and economic lenses of our panelists. The future flash points between Privacy and Cyber Security will then be examined in the Round Table Panel Discussion, allowing attendees to join the discussion.
The seminar will be free to DU Faculty/Students, and $30.00 for the general public; additional contributions to the Privacy Foundation, a 501 © (3) non-profit, are always welcome. You can find all this information and register online at http://dughost.imodules.com/privacyandcybersecurity.

First impressions are everything. In a competitive job market, your resume and cover letter create a first impression that can make the difference between getting an interview or getting your application tossed in the recycling bin. Hear directly from an employer about what works and what doesn’t work in a job application and come out ready to sell yourself with concise, well-tailored and error-free application materials. Please note that this program targets 1Ls but all students are welcome. Lunch will be served so please RSVP so we can get an accurate count for food.
