CLR - Updating Your Research

Your research is not complete until you ensure your authorities are good law.  This class will show you how to use citators (Lexis’ Shepard’s, Westlaw’s KeyCite, and Bloomberg Law’s B-Cite) to check for currentness, interpret the different symbols used, and how these tools are used as an integral part of the research process.

Meet the Gubernatorial Candidate Series: U.S. Congressman Jared Polis

Join us for a lunch discussion with Congressman Jared Polis to learn more about his vision for Colorado. Formerly an entrepreneur who founded such companies as Proflowers.com and bluemountain.com, Jared currently represents Colorado’s second congressional district and is running for governor on a platform of energy independence, full-day kindergarten and preschool, and increasing pay for all employees across the state. He will discuss these and more policy goals and will answer any and all questions you may have. This event will be held in Room 255 on October 18, 2017 from 12PM to 1PM. Lunch will be provided.

Social Hour with Alumni

Location: Law 335

Social Hour with Alumni will be held on Wednesday, October 18th from 5:00-7:00 pm. This will take place in the Student Law Office, Suite 335. Students will have the opportunity to network with past clinic alumni as well as current clinic students, in efforts to gain more knowledge about the clinical programs offered! Beer, wine, non-alcoholic beverages, and light snacks will be provided.
