Let's Talk: Counseling for Students Every Thursday

In collaboration with DU’s Health and Counseling Center, Student Affairs is offering Denver Law students in all degree programs the opportunity to drop in to speak with an on-call counselor, every Thursday this semester.


Sessions will be held in the Reflection Room (314) from 11:45 to 1:15. Signing up is not required. Students will be seen on a first-come, first-serve basis.

The West Memphis Three: When Innocence is Not Enough

Baldwin was convicted of a crime that he and his co-defendants, Damien Echols and Jessie Misskelley, Jr., did not commit. Their story became the subject of four major documentaries and a feature film. In 2011, all three men, dubbed the West Memphis Three, were released from prison following an Alford Please after serving 18 years for a crime they did not commit.

Legal Externship Program Supervisor Training

Location: Law 412

Supervising attorneys in the Legal Externship Program are invited to attend this training on September 28th at 4:00 pm. We will discuss ABA guidelines as they relate to externships and engage in an interactive dialogue on ethical scenarios facing externs and supervisors, collectively brainstorming ways to handle such incidents. We will be offering 2 CLE credits (1 general/ 1 ethics; credit being applied for). We hope you will be able to join us and then stay for a cocktail reception, as we thank you for your service to our students, Denver Law, and the future of the legal profession.
