2013 Sutton Writing Competition

The 2013 Sutton Writing Competition allows JD, LLM, and Graduate Tax Program Students from the Sturm College of Law to write a paper on any area of international or comparative law for a chance to win a $4,000 scholarship to attend the Hague Academy for the 2014 summer term. Chair Massage

Cookie (CMT, LMT) from the Healing Hands Wellness Center will be in the building again to offer FREE chair massages to our students, staff, and faculty.

We are proud to begin offering this service free of charge!

Data Mining and Privacy Panel

Please join Prof. Paul Rosenzweig and Attorney Steven Zansberg, with commentary by Prof. Soma, for a discussion on the privacy implications of data mining by the NSA and companies like Google. Questions presented include: Is data mining legal? Is data mining effective in promoting national security? Who presents a greater threat to privacy: Google or the NSA? Do current privacy laws provide adequate protection?

Prof. Paul Rosenzweig is a law professor at George Washington University, senior editor of the Journal of National Security Law & Policy, and formerly worked for the Department of Homeland Security.

Mr. Zansberg is a Denver attorney specializing in mass media, the First Amendment, and privacy issues.

Prof. Soma teaches business law and intellectual property law at DU Law and is the Executive Director of the University of Denver Privacy Foundation.
