Clarence Darrow: A One-Man Play by: David W. Rentiels

The Parker Arts Council and Cafe La Papa are pleased to present: Clarence Darrow: A One-Man Play, written by David W. Rentiels and performed by former mayor of Parker David Casiano, will open this Saturday, September 28th at 6:00pm at Deep Space in Parker,CO. Tickets are $7.50 and may be purchased online at parkerartscouncil.org or at the door.

The play brings Darrow “back to life” and delves into his life as a lawyer, social justice activist, and noted member of the American Civil Liberties Union. Darrow is most known for his defense of Leopold and Loeb and John T. Scopes in the Scopes “Monkey” Trial.

Saturday, October 5th at 6:00pm $7.50 each Saturday, October 12th at 6:00pm $7.50 each Saturday, October 19th at 6:00pm $7.50 each

All performances will be held at Deep Space ~ 11020 S. Pikes Peak Dr. Parker, CO 80134

2013 Sutton Writing Competition

The 2013 Sutton Writing Competition allows JD, LLM, and Graduate Tax Program Students from the Sturm College of Law to write a paper on any area of international or comparative law for a chance to win a $4,000 scholarship to attend the Hague Academy for the 2014 summer term.
