Clarence Darrow: A One-Man Play by: David W. Rentiels

The Parker Arts Council and Cafe La Papa are pleased to present: Clarence Darrow: A One-Man Play, written by David W. Rentiels and performed by former mayor of Parker David Casiano, will open this Saturday, September 28th at 6:00pm at Deep Space in Parker,CO. Tickets are $7.50 and may be purchased online at parkerartscouncil.org or at the door.

The play brings Darrow “back to life” and delves into his life as a lawyer, social justice activist, and noted member of the American Civil Liberties Union. Darrow is most known for his defense of Leopold and Loeb and John T. Scopes in the Scopes “Monkey” Trial.

Other Dates include:

Saturday, October 5th at 6:00pm $7.50 each Saturday, October 12th at 6:00pm $7.50 each Saturday, October 19th at 6:00pm $7.50 each

All performances will be held at Deep Space ~ 11020 S. Pikes Peak Dr. Parker, CO 80134

International Law and Human Rights Certificate Information Session

For the first time the University of Denver is offering a Joint Certificate in International Law and Human Rights. The certificate allows graduate students at both the Sturm College of Law and the Josef Korbel School of International Studies to pursue interdisciplinary studies in International Human Rights Law.

This session will cover, among other things, the application process, procedure, and benefits of applying for this certificate.
