The DU-Law College Republicans are pleased to welcome State Representative Mark Waller, a graduate of the University of Denver College of Law (JD 2003).
Monday, July 1, 2013 – 10:00am to 11:00am
East Atrium, Sturm College of Law, University of Denver
Representative Waller currently represents House District 15 in El Paso County, and serves as the House Minority Leader. Representative Waller will have recently announced his intention to seek the Republican nomination and election as Colorado’s next Attorney General, and while he will certainly discuss his candidacy, the principal focus of his remarks will be on what he believes the role of the state Attorney General to be, and his overall philosophy of the role of government, and how his law degree from the University of Denver College of Law and career as an attorney has helped qualify him and develop the skills and relationships necessary for successful public service.
Representative Waller will be joined by State Senator Ellen Roberts (SD6-Durango), State Representative Bob Gardner (HD15-Colorado Springs), DU-Law students and members of the DU-Law community, local party and community leaders, members of the media, and other invited guests.
All speakers understand that their presence at the University of Denver College of Law at this event sponsored and hosted by the DU-Law College Republicans student organization is not intended to suggest or imply any endorsement by the University of any political candidate in a partisan race.
Please join us after the speakers offer their remarks and answer questions for a small reception with cake and punch in the West Atrium.
