Come and join the current Jessup International Moot Court team for pizza and an info session!!! We will be discussing try-outs, how the team operates, the Jessup experience, what we are looking for in a new teammate, and the time commitment for the team. We are happy to answer any questions!
Jessup is the largest and most prestigious international moot court competition, and lots of fun! If you are interested in international law or appellate advocacy – we invite you to consider trying out for the team!

Poetic Injustice: Palestinian Spoken Word Artist REMI KANAZI

Remi Kanazi- NYC based spoken word artist, published poet, and activist- is coming to Denver!
Come enjoy a free evening of spoken word poetry including opening performances by members of Denver’s Spoken Work Collective, Cafe Cultura. Event hosted by DU Students for Justice in Palestine
Remi Kanazi is a poet, writer, and activist based in New York City. He is the author of Poetic Injustice: Writings on Resistance and Palestine (RoR Publishing, 2011) and the editor of Poets For Palestine (Al Jisser Group, 2008).
His work has been featured by news outlets throughout the world, including Al Jazeera English, GRITtv with Laura Flanders, and BBC Radio. He recently appeared in the Palestine Festival of Literature as well as Poetry International. He is a recurring writer in residence and advisory board member for the Palestine Writing Workshop and he is on the organizing committee of USACBI (the US Campaign for the Academic and Cultural Boycott of Israel).
