Professor Katyal will survey the Executive Branch’s conduct in times of war, focusing on the U.S. Justice Department’s activity during World War II. He will relate the role of the Justice Department in World War II to the very different role played by the Justice Department in the aftermath of the September 11, 2001 attacks. Neal Katyal is a law professor at Georgetown University Law Center and a partner at Hogan Lovells in Washington, D.C. Free and open to the community. Complimentary parking will be available in Lot L.
