Vali Nasr is a leading expert on the Middle East, a best-selling author, Dean of the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies in Washington, D.C., Senior
Fellow in Foreign Policy at the Brookings Institution, and contributor to Bloomberg View. He will also give the keynote address to launch DU’s Center for Middle East Studies (on February 26th). Prof. Nader Hashemi from the Korbel School will co-facilitate! In advance of his presence we will discuss several of his articles and a public appearance:
