On Monday October 29, 2012 at 5 – 5:45pm in room 259 Adjunct Professor Carl Oppedahl will be at the law school for an information session on his Advanced Patent Law class offered this spring and to talk about recent developments in patent prosecution due to AIA changes. If you are looking for an IP class to take spring semester Professor Oppedahl will be teaching Advanced Patent Law and this is a great opportunity to talk to a professor about a class before enrolling. In addition Professor Oppedahl will talk a bit about the recent changes in patent prosecution due to the AIA. Some of the changes include new requirements for oaths and declarations and third party submissions. If you are at all thinking about taking the patent bar it would be worth your time to go because these new issues can be tested on. Food will be provided.
