Baldwin was convicted of a crime that he and his co-defendants, Damien Echols and Jessie Misskelley, Jr., did not commit. Their story became the subject of four major documentaries and a feature film. In 2011, all three men, dubbed the West Memphis Three, were released from prison following an Alford Please after serving 18 years for a crime they did not commit.
