On April 6th twenty years ago, a genocide began in Rwanda which resulted in the slaughter of over 800,000 men, women and children.
Rwanda Twenty Years Ago Today is a University of Denver initiative which seeks to commemorate the Rwandan genocide through an examination of the events leading up to April 6, 1994.
