Frank Schuchat (J.D., Georgetown ’80), international trade and business lawyer and stand-up comedian gives his humorous take on the state of the legal profession and offers some career advice for students and young lawyers. Since graduating from law school, Frank has clerked for an appellate judge, been an attorney with the US International Trade Commission, and he practiced in the DC offices of two major national firms as well in Denver with Holme, Roberts & Owen and Ireland Stapleton, Pryor and Pascoe, before founding Schuchat, Herzog & Brenman, LLC in 2002. However, the credential most relevant to this program is that while in law school Frank was Editor on Chief of The Georgetown Law Revue, the humorous periodical for members of the legal profession.
