Inspired by a proposal from the DU Center for Sustainability and the DU Sustainability Council, this class will take on the real-life project of determining the feasibility of installing solar panels either on the DU Campus or through a partnership on local property. The objective is to form interdisciplinary teams to explore the problem and find solutions from a variety of perspectives including legal, economic, and engineering. While the content of the coverage will vary depending upon the departments participating and outside partners, the course will involve experiential skills including original research, negotiation, written and oral communication, report creation, and oral presentation.
