  1. You must complete at least twelve (12) semester credits in the Workplace Law curriculum.
  2. At least 6 credits of the required 12 must come from among the following WPL Core Courses. You are required to take two of the following; you may take all three. Check those completed:
    • Employment Law L4205
    • Employment Discrimination Law L4227
    • Labor Law L4355
  3. At least 3 credits of the required 12 must come from a capstone experience in the Workplace Law curriculum. You must complete one of the following; you may complete more than one. Check those completed:
    • An employment/labor related clinical experience through the SLO.
    • A qualifying externship. Semester and year taken:
    • Completion of a research paper satisfying the College of Law's upper-level writing Requirement through a Workplace Law class or through directed research with a Workplace Law faculty member. Check course(s) completed:
      • Employment Law Capstone: Mediation
      • Labor & Employment Law Writing Seminar L4229
      • Other (write in course name):
    • Publishing a note on workplace law topic in the Denver University Law Review under the supervision of a Workplace Law faculty member.
    • In the event that the SCOL obtains or establishes a workplace law publication, serving as a student editor for that review or journal.
    • Completion of a designated "capstone" course in the Workplace Law Program.
  4. Workplace Law Advanced Courses. None of these courses is required. Credits earned in these courses count toward the certificate. Check those completed:

  5. A cumulative G.P.A. of 3.0 in all Workplace Law courses. This will be calculated from your transcript.
