My favorite memory of law school was the time I spent on the Moot Court Trial and Appellate teams. The ability to apply the theory and knowledge gained from classes in the practical setting of an appeal or trial was the most rewarding experience I've ever had. Even more memorable were the lifetime bonds of friendship that were created with my teammates by going through the intense process of preparing, traveling, and arguing our case. I'll never forget the experience. Professor Karen Steinhauser was our trial team coach and I will always remember how she convinced the Association of Trial Lawyers of America (ATLA) competition committee to send us to Florida for our regional competition rather than Utah. I could not imagine a better place to be in March and besides, we beat the defending national champions in their home state. Thanks Karen!

From a technology standpoint, I fondly remember free Westlaw and computer labs that the College of Law provided. Since I did not own a laptop or a home computer, the computer labs in the old library were a tremendous lifesaver!
