Named Scholarships at Denver Law
The following Named scholarships are available at Denver Law.
These scholarships are for current JD students only. New and prospective students should review our first-year scholarship opportunities. Students in Master’s programs – MRLS or MSLA – should contact their department directly for information on scholarship opportunities.
Named scholarships are awarded annually based on the criteria established by the scholarship’s donors. Examples of these criteria include, but are not limited to: superior academic achievement, financial need, demonstrated interest/accomplishment in an area of law, and evidence of civic and social responsibility.
Scholarship awards range from $1,000 to $25,000 per academic year, with most awards in the $2,000-$5,000 range. Named scholarships are awarded for one year only.
Some scholarships require an application and some do not.
- For scholarships that require an application: Applications are collected twice per year, in September/October and in February.
