Donald L. Kortz, JD'65

Before attending the University of Denver College of Law, Donald Kortz received his BA from Tulane University in 1962. He practiced with Feder Morris and Kortz for three years before joining Fuller and Company as executive vice president and general counsel. Kortz went on to create the Colorado Chapter of the Real Estate Securities and Syndication Institute; he also is a former president of the Real Estate Title Section of the Colorado Bar Association. A Denver native, he has long been active in his hometown community. He has served as president and chief executive officer of Rose Community Foundation and serves on the Board of Directors of The Children’s Hospital, National Jewish Medical and Research Center, Rose Medical Center, Judith Ann Griese Foundation and the Denver Zoo. He also served as chair of the board of directors for the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce. He received the Mizel Museum of Judaica Community Cultural Enrichment award in 1999 and the Rose Medical Center Humanitarian of the Year award in 1990. Kortz is the current chairman of the board at Fuller and Company.
