Outstanding Alumni Award - 1996
Joseph Berenbaum, a senior partner in the Denver law firm of Berenbaum, Weinshienk and Eason and the oldest practicing lawyer in Denver, received the Outstanding Alumni Award in 1996. Berenbaum was chosen for his leadership in the legal community, his humanitarian service and his outstanding loyalty to the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. Berenbaum has served as President of the Jewish Family and Children’s Service, and on the boards of the National Jewish Hospital and the United Way. In 1991, he received the Learned Hand award from the American Jewish Committee.
