Financial Aid Timeline for the 2008/2009 Academic Year

January (or as soon as you are admitted)
Complete the 2008-2009 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online at www.fafsa.ed.gov. Use your 2007 federal tax return to complete the FASFA. If you have not yet filed your return, estimate your 2007 income. The FAFSA is important for scholarship consideration. Our FAFSA school code is: 001371.

February
Tentative award letters will be sent out to students who have submitted their FAFSA.

April
Accept your financial aid award on MyWeb »

Late June
If you are interested in student loans, complete the Entrance Interview and Master Promissory Note for Federal Stafford Loans through the lender of your choice. Apply for Federal Graduate PLUS Loan or private student Loan and complete the corresponding Promissory Note through the lender of your choice.

August
Earliest financial aid refunds (for those students who have completed all requirements) are available during the week before fall classes begin.

June 13th - Second Admissions Deposit

June/July - Finalize Student Loan Applications/Promisory Note/Entrance Counseling

August 13th-15th - First Financial Aid Refunds available to those who qualify (all appropriate paperwork should be completed by mid-July)
