A shareholder at Otten Johnson, Mr. Ragonetti practices with the firm’s land use and real estate groups. Prior to his career in law, he received a design degree in city and regional planning and worked in urban planning and public finance capacities for the city of Boston, the Economic Consultants Organization, Inc., the State of New York and the United Nations. Leveraging his academic and employment background, Mr. Ragonetti’s practice is focused on land use, government regulation, public-private transactions and related matters, and he is a recognized specialist in land use planning and regulation, public finance for private developments, annexation, urban development, zoning and historic preservation.

Mr. Ragonetti has co-chaired The Colorado Blue Ribbon Panel on Housing. He serves as president of the Rocky Mountain Land Use Institute and is a member of the Colorado Land Use Commission. He served on former Colorado Gov. Roy Romer’s Task Force on Smart Growth and Development program.

Tom Ragonetti has taught Land Use Planning since fall 1993.
