The University of Denver Sturm College of Law offers a comprehensive J.D. degree in an atmosphere that never lacks for innovation.

Our first year curriculum includes the following courses:

  • Contracts
  • Criminal Law
  • Lawyering Process (two semesters)
  • Civil Procedure
  • Torts
  • Property
  • Constitutional Law

Required courses after first year:

  • Perspective Elective
  • Evidence
  • Administrative Law
  • Prof. Responsibility

In a student’s final semester, there is no tuition charge for up to six credits over the 90 required for graduation if all 90 credits are DU LAW courses.
