The University of Denver Sturm College
of Law provides students with a rich experience. Our curriculum
demands critical and analytical thinking, while our talented faculty stresses not only the importance of knowing the facts, but also
the obligation of the ethical practice of law. And with our location
at the foot of the Colorado Rockies, you’ll live, work,
and play in one of the most beautiful areas of the world.
Academics
Students are able to enroll in innovative legal programs and designate
specific areas of emphasis,

lawyers an edge. We also offer day
and evening class schedules, so that you can earn your degree
at a convenient time for you, and dual
degree programs that allow you to supplement your J.D. with
an advanced degree. And with a student-faculty ratio of 14:1 you’ll
be sure to get the individual attention you deserve.
Practice
Because of our strong ties with the legal community in Denver,
you’ll have access to valuable experience as an intern.
Our student clinics provide additional
lawyering practice, and our five law
journals allow students to participate in high-level intellectual
legal discussion.
Environment
DU Law has a diverse and intellectually stimulating environment.
Twenty percent of our students are of ethnic descent and
50 percent of our students are from out of state. We are just
minutes from world-class ski resorts, incredible views, and hiking
and mountain bike trails. For fun closer to home, spend an evening
in LoDo, Denver’s renovated downtown area; attend a baseball,
hockey, football, or basketball game; or cheer your favorite singer,
dancer, or actor to an encore.

Approximately 85% of our students receive some
sort of financial aid. We offer
grant, loan, and work-study packages. Our Chancellor
Scholarship was developed for people interested in Public
Interest law and offers full tuition scholarships.
